JSON replaced XML as the main interoperable data format for integration. But JSON is not JSON. JSON is the language framework used to create formats for different purposes. The same data can be represented in many different formats that could have different structure, field names and data types.
Many API gateways provide features to convert between JSON and other formats. Some use templating, a mapping language or generic transformation. This session describes the different approaches and introduces techniques to create powerful JSON converters with little effort.
